Lead Front-End Architect (React)

Smarter Contact is the #1 messaging platform for real estate professionals in the U.S. Our SaaS product powers millions of conversations every month, helping real estate professionals close more deals through smart SMS, voice, and automation.

We're growing fast and need a true front-end architect — someone who's already led major React projects at scale and wants to take full ownership of the front-end across multiple products.

What You'll Own

  • Lead the implementation of our front-end architecture and drive it to completion
  • Collaborate daily with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver user-first features
  • Own performance, UX, and component library quality across the platform
  • Spot issues before they happen, communicate proactively, and help unblock the team
  • Be a key voice representing the FE discipline in cross-functional conversations

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years experience, with at least 5 years building and scaling React apps in production
  • Deep expertise in React + TypeScript, state management, and frontend optimization
  • Strong experience with Chakra UI, GraphQL (Apollo), and modern tooling like Vite
  • You've worked with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GCP Cloud Build) and Sentry monitoring
  • You think like a product owner — every feature you build solves a real customer problem
  • You're a team player who listens, speaks up, and supports the group's success

Bonus Points (Not Required)

  • Experience with React Native or mobile-first architecture
  • Messaging, voice, or real-time communications background
  • You've scaled SaaS apps in fast-growth startup environments
