At Volvo Group Digital & IT you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. We are looking for a Professional Data Analyst to support our data productization journey. You will contribute to our global projects focusing on the development of data analytics solutions, along with data processing and modeling for visualizations.

You will:

• Work on one of our global agile product teams focusing on delivering business value through digital products.
• Contribute to enable new data-driven services working with stakeholders throughout the organization, to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
• Support in modeling and building robust analytics solutions with data from a wide variety of heterogeneous sources, whether on-premises or hosted on Microsoft Azure Cloud, providing valuable analytical insights through data visualization and reporting tools.
• Work closely with data engineers to produce necessary data models and structures that will support the end user solutions.

Your future team

You will join one of our Data chapters in Curitiba-PR, Brazil, part of our global Data Analytics community within Digital & IT Data function. Furthermore, you will work in the development of digital data solutions in a team under Analytics & BI - Product Data area.

In this position, you must bring:

• Academic degree from a relevant field of studies.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• High degree of responsibility, self-organization and self-motivation.
• Adaptability and ability to drive tasks by yourself and/or in a team environment.
• Highly collaborative mindset with a good ability to transpose business requirements into data solutions.
• Agile and DevSecOps frameworks previous experience.
• Advanced data analysis and data modeling skills.
• High level of experience developing data visualization apps in Power BI.
• Advanced DAX and complex measures.
• Semantic models, Data Flows and Datasets.
• Deployment pipelines.

Also, it would be nice to bring:

• Previous experience with Azure DevOps (repos and pipelines).
• Previous experience with ETL processes and tools.
• Previous experience with Data Engineering tools (Azure Data Factory and Databricks).
• SQL skills;
• Python programming
