DevOps Analyst Remote Overview We are seeking a skilled DevOps Analyst to join our technology group, focusing on production support and management of technical environments. This role will support the day‑to‑day operations of applications, manage infrastructure projects, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth development, testing, and release cycles. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain various environments (database, web, and application servers) for development, testing, and releases, including scheduling and coordinating environment refreshes/resets. Create and manage Azure DevOps releases, overseeing deployment pipelines, builds, and associated tasks. Lead infrastructure projects, such as server upgrades, assessing and addressing impacts on applications and users, including Disaster Recovery testing (scheduling, overseeing, and documenting). Collaborate with onshore, nearshore, and offshore development, infrastructure, cloud, security, and support teams to perform periodic maintenance tasks, such as password rotations and SSL certificate renewals. Investigate bug causes, coordinate fixes, and support testing with cross‑functional teams. Create and manage tickets for production support, ensuring compliance with SOX and regulatory procedures through coordination with Change and Release control teams. Communicate with application users regarding system status and specific issues they raise. Develop a deep understanding of applications and business processes to create and execute test and release plans. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for applications, processes, and projects. Identify and recommend process improvements and workflow automations. Research and propose solutions leveraging existing and emerging technologies. Maintain a workboard (e.g., in Asana) to keep management and project leaders informed of status, efforts, and issues. Attend scheduled meetings and work primarily on a US East Coast schedule (ET 09:00 – 17:00), with occasional availability outside regular hours for critical production support. Required Skills Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps, particularly in deployment processes (pipelines, builds, repository management, version review, and error handling). Strong understanding of server and network architecture. Knowledge of web development tools and architectures. Familiarity with relational database concepts and structures. Experience with development, testing, and release cycles in an Agile environment. Excellent communication skills for engaging with end‑users and development teams. Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Self‑motivated with a proactive approach to initiating, pursuing, and resolving issues. High attention to detail and commitment to precision. Comfortable reading and writing requirements and test scripts. Willingness to work outside regular business hours for critical production support when needed. Recommended Skills Proficiency in MSSQL (T‑SQL). Experience with Slack (Workflow Builder, etc.). Familiarity with Asana (Workflow Builder, etc.). Knowledge of ServiceNow. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting. Experience with Office 365, including Excel macros. Familiarity with MS PowerApps. Experience with ETL tools such as Alteryx. Bilingualism (Spanish and English) to support communication with a global workforce and user base. Familiarity with the broadcast industry and signal distribution technologies. Experience with automation and workflow/process tools. Development experience with object‑oriented programming languages (e.g., Java, Visual Studio, .NET, C#). Work Schedule Primary work hours: US East Coast schedule (ET 09:00 – 17:00).
