In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Data Scientist at IBM, you will help transform our clients’ data into tangible business value by analyzing information, communicating outcomes and collaborating on product development. Work with Best in Class open source and visual tools, along with the most flexible and scalable deployment options. Whether it’s investigating patient trends or weather patterns, you will work to solve real world problems for the industries transforming how we live.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise

- Liderar o design e a implementação de projetos de otimização em diversas áreas do negócio, garantindo que os modelos atendam aos requisitos de eficiência e eficácia;
- Colaborar com stakeholders de diversas áreas, traduzindo desafios de negócios em problemas matemáticos e propondo soluções viáveis;
- Analisar grandes volumes de dados e gerar insights acionáveis que orientem a tomada de decisão estratégica da empresa;
- Documentar e comunicar os resultados das análises de forma clara e eficiente para públicos técnicos e não técnicos;
- Mentorar cientistas de dados juniores e colaborar com outras áreas de ciência de dados e TI para garantir a melhor performance dos modelos;
Requisitos:
- Experiência com otimização Linear e Não Linear: expertise em técnicas como Simplex, programação quadrática, otimização convexa e outras formas de otimização matemática aplicadas a problemas de grande escala;
- Metaheurísticas: conhecimento profundo em algoritmos como Simulated Annealing, Algoritmos Genéticos, Colônia de Formigas, e Particle Swarm Optimization, aplicados para resolver problemas de otimização complexos e de difícil modelagem;
- Programação Matemática e Estatística: proficiência em linguagens como Python, R, MATLAB, além de bibliotecas específicas (e.g., PuLP, Gurobi, Scipy);
- Machine Learning e Estatística Avançada: capacidade de integrar técnicas de aprendizado de máquina e estatística com métodos de otimização, otimizando modelos preditivos e prescritivos;
- Big Data & Cloud: experiência em trabalhar com grandes volumes de dados e ferramentas em nuvem (Azure, AWS, GCP) para modelagem e execução de algoritmos de otimização em larga escala;
- Simulação e Modelagem Matemática: habilidade em desenvolver simulações para testar soluções de otimização, ajustando-as conforme necessário para cenários reais e variáveis.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Inglês Avançado ou Fluente: habilidade de comunicar-se em inglês de forma eficiente, tanto em interações escritas quanto orais, sendo capaz de atuar em equipes globais e interagir com clientes internacionais;
- Superior completo ou cursando.
