As a Webflow Developer at Step Labs, you'll be responsible for building scalable, conversion-oriented Webflow projects using Client-First methodology, best-in-class front-end practices, and Wized integrations to deliver interactive and data-driven experiences.

You'll work alongside our CRO strategists, designers, and developers to turn concepts into seamless, responsive builds that both look beautiful and perform under scale.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Webflow sites using Client-First framework for scalable, maintainable structure.
  • Implement front-end animations, transitions, and micro-interactions that drive engagement without sacrificing performance.
  • Integrate Wized for dynamic, database-driven functionality (dashboards, forms, gated content, memberships, etc.).
  • Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive Webflow builds.
  • Collaborate with CRO strategists to launch weekly split-tests and feature rollouts.
  • Optimize Webflow projects for speed, SEO, and accessibility benchmarks.
  • Debug, QA, and document builds to ensure long-term scalability.
QualificationsCore Skills
  • Strong proficiency in Webflow development with Client-First framework.
  • Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for extending Webflow functionality.
  • Experience with Wized for no-code/low-code dynamic applications.
  • Familiarity with API integrations and third-party services.
  • Understanding of performance optimization (lazy loading, minification, responsive images).
Experience
  • Proven track record delivering high-end Webflow builds for e-commerce or SaaS brands.
  • Experience translating complex Figma/Sketch designs into Webflow.
  • Exposure to CRO or A/B testing workflows (preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to implement front-end animations and interactions thoughtfully.
Personal Qualities
  • Detail-oriented, with a passion for clean structure and maintainable builds.
  • Strong communication skills in a remote-first environment.
  • Proactive problem solver who can handle multiple projects at once.
  • Fluent in English.
Bonus Points
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Vue) for advanced integrations.
  • Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.
  • Knowledge of analytics or testing tools (Hotjar, Clarity, Optimizely).
  • An eye for design and usability to pair with technical expertise.
