As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase for the Portfolio Management System platform within Neovest Inc., you will be a seasoned member of an agile team, responsible for designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your role involves executing critical technology solutions across various technical areas to support the firm’s business objectives. Job Responsibilities Develop and troubleshoot software solutions, employing innovative approaches to problem-solving Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms aligned with system requirements Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met Analyze large, diverse data sets to develop visualizations and reports for continuous improvement Identify hidden problems and patterns in data to enhance coding hygiene and system architecture Contribute to communities of practice exploring new technologies Promote a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills 3-5 years of experience developing applications for capital markets, investment management, or trading in FinTech Strong understanding of financial markets and related products Knowledge of financial analytics, valuations, and risk analysis Proficiency in C#/.Net coding Experience supporting high throughput, low latency, multi-threaded systems Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability Experience with modern programming languages and database querying in a corporate environment Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle Knowledge of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security Familiarity with technical disciplines like cloud, AI, machine learning, mobile, etc. Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., WPF, React, Angular) Knowledge of RDBMS (e.g., MS SQL Server) Exposure to data cache products (Redis) and messaging services (Kafka, Azure Service Bus) Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) About Us J.P.
