Software Development Opportunity You are a skilled software engineer passionate about developing scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications using Ruby on Rails. About You: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of experience in back-end development using Ruby on Rails. Strong knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, and API Gateway. Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments. Solid understanding of serverless architectures and AWS Lambda functions. Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs. Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, and background job frameworks (Sidekiq, Resque). Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments. Experience working with Agile methodologies, and proficiency using Jira and Confluence for project tracking. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. Your Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Ruby on Rails applications with a focus on scalability and performance. Build and manage AWS infrastructure components using Terraform and DevOps best practices. Implement and maintain serverless solutions leveraging AWS Lambda and related services. Integrate and maintain APIs and external systems, ensuring reliability and data consistency. Refactor legacy components to improve maintainability, performance, and code clarity. Write and maintain automated tests to ensure high code quality and coverage. Monitor application performance and proactively address issues or bottlenecks. Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines, ensuring secure, consistent, and efficient deployments. Participate in code reviews, maintaining high-quality development standards. Engage in Agile ceremonies.
