Plant Corrosion Engineer – Relocate to Saudi Arabia, Permanent Expat Relocation Package Join to apply for the Plant Corrosion Engineer – Relocate to Saudi Arabia, Permanent Expat Relocation Package role at aramco . This position requires full relocation to Saudi Arabia. It is a permanent full-time Expat Relocation Package. Job Overview We are seeking a Plant Corrosion Engineer to join our Tanajib Gas Plant Department (TGPD) within the Northern Area Gas Operations (NAGO). TGPD is responsible for and currently processes 3 billion standard cubic feet per day of associated and non‑associated gas. The plant produces NGL, Sales Gas, and Liquid sulfur. Your primary role is to implement, support, and continually improve the Tanajib Gas Plant Department inspection corrosion management programs and provide consultative advice in materials selection and corrosion mitigation strategies, ensuring mechanical integrity of all TGPD assets including equipment and piping throughout their life cycle. Key Responsibilities Implement corrosion management program and on‑stream monitoring Conduct risk‑based inspection using API‑580 methodology and review/approve recommended solutions for coating failures and cathodic protection Participate in HAZOP review sessions and ensure all issues are addressed Manage water treatment program and recommend solutions to overcome challenges Review design packages and validate material selection based on current codes and standards Validate corrosion controls, corrosion loops, and corrosion damage mechanisms frequently Assess feed composition changes and approve recommended solutions to assure asset integrity Develop scope and description of technology items, and lead field implementation Develop and transfer knowledge about use of coating, CP, corrosion inhibitors and other controls and best practices Extract data and draw conclusions from corrosion monitoring technologies, troubleshoot corrosion problems, and address root causes Perform regular review and update of the plant’s Corrosion Control Documents (CCD’s) reflecting any changes resulting from plant operations or facility modifications Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Corrosion Science from a recognized program Minimum 10 years of experience in gas processing within the oil and gas industry and material science and metrology, different NDT technologies, and welding engineering Experience running asset integrity programs at petroleum or petrochemical operating facilities Capability to write clear technical reports and present findings to management Solid experience with international standards and codes (NACE, ASME, API, ASTM), especially inspection and corrosion standards such as API‑571, API‑579, API‑580, API‑570, and API‑510 Valid NACE Specialist Certification or NACE Senior Corrosion Technologist, or combination of NACE Corrosion Technologist, API‑571, and NACE CP Level II Aramco energizes the world economy.
