**Your role**
- Do you have a strong tax background in the finance sector? Do you know how to solve problems and increase efficiency for better performance?
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Tax leader in Brazil to:
- manage our local corporate tax compliance function, ensuring regulatory adherence in our process and developing a high-performance team
- collaborate across different business divisions and functions, working closely with different stakeholders and regulators
- optimize tax processes and mitigate risks
**Your team**
- You'll be working in the Group Tax team located in Sao Paulo, Brazil. As a Tax leader, you'll play an important role for UBS, by ensuring tax compliance and advisory to our different businesses.
**Your expertise**
- ideally 10+ years of experience in tax compliance and advisory, with significant experience in global financial industry or Big 4 firm
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Law, or related fields. CPA and/or LLM certificate will be consider a plus
- deep expertise in corporate taxation, compliance, reporting standards, and corporate income taxes affecting financial sector
- proven experience leading and developing high-performing team, with strong attention to the fine points, and highly risk aware
- strong stakeholder management and ability to collaborate across different business divisions and functions
- methodical and concise, with a solution-oriented way of thinking
- Fluency in English and Portuguese
- availability to work onsite in Sao Paulo's office
