Surgical interments Sales Assistant (Latin America Region) Job Title: Sales Assistant - Medical instruments & devices (Latin America Region) Location: Latin America (frequent regional business travel required) Key Responsibilities Drive business growth in the Latin America market by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients. This includes top-tier hospitals, surgeons from relevant departments (gastrointestinal surgery, colorectal surgery, bariatric surgery, general surgery, etc.), distributors, and channel partners. Collaborate closely with target clinical departments to understand their needs, promote product value, and achieve sales targets. Develop and execute regional sales strategies tailored to the characteristics of relevant medical departments and local market demands. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, Business, or related fields. Minimum 2 years of international sales experience in the medical device industry. Candidates with a sales background at Medtronic, Johnson & Johnson, or similar multinational medical device companies will be highly preferred. Prior experience collaborating with gastrointestinal surgery, colorectal surgery, bariatric surgery, general surgery, or other related clinical departments is a significant advantage. Product & Market Knowledge Familiarity with medical device products; prior experience in relevant product segments (e.g., instruments for gastrointestinal, colorectal, bariatric, or general surgery) is an advantage. Understanding of the Latin American medical market, especially the procurement processes and demand characteristics of target clinical departments. Language Skills Fluent in Portuguese (spoken and written). Professional working proficiency in English. Spanish language skills will be a significant plus.
