Financial Analyst 3

Latin America is in a high growth environment becoming a hub for R&D, Finance, Customer Support and other global functions located in the region. This position is going to report to the Latam CFO.
We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst that possesses a validated accounting, financial, and analytical skills to join the team supporting our finance organization which has a long history of success helping our customers improve the business impact and keep transparency and consistency with our books and records for Siemens.
Your expertise, through insightful analysis, collaboration, and communication, will significantly contribute to decision making and overall success of the business. This position assists the Latin America Region in close collaboration with Americas Zone Finance organization and Global Support Functions in all financial related aspects, mainly related to legal entity administration.
This position will support the organization as an analyst to create financial transparency and improved efficiency and accuracy in reporting and processes. Will support special projects and coordination of multiple segments in the company hosted in-country and active participation on Zone Finance and cross-unit implementations.
**Essential Functions**
- Performs complex financial analyses and options for company improvement on expenses and processes
- Identify areas to improve, digitize, and automate reports and processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Perform ad hoc business reporting, analysis, and other activities as needed.
- Partner across a broader organization to drive process and systems improvements.
- Build strong cross functional relationships and influence decision making
- Communicate and coordinate with various partners to ensure accuracy of systems and reporting.
- Collaborates with financial controllers to Improve reporting and analysis using new BI tools
- Acts as a problem solver to overcome hurdles in the adoption process
- Support business integrations and potential M&A activities and Legal Entities management
- Liaison with different stakeholder including CFO community, Sales Operations, Sales Finance, Performance Controlling and Accounting
**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience**
- Bachelor's Degree in business or Finance; MBA and CPA (preferred)
- 6+ years of experience in finance or accounting
- Proficient with Office, Essbase and data automation (e.g. KNIME, Tableau) and solid knowledge of Hyperion Planning and SAP
- Experience in software business (preferred)
- Must have open and innovative mindset to tackle new business models and processes
- Must have strong analytical skills to evaluate results and decisions
- Must have great communication skills and problem solver mentality
- Must have high level of technical knowledge of budgeting, cash management and financial analysis processes.
- Ability to work with multiple management levels throughout the company in analyzing financial situations
- Strong presentation skills and ability to effectively communicate financial data and insights to both finance and non-finance leaders
- Self-directed, organized, and experience in owning a process end-to-end
- A team player with the ability to develop strong cross functional relationships in a matrixed organization
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and address critical topics in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy
- Fluency in English is required, Spanish is desirable.
