**Position overview**:
The Controller SG&A EMEA will be responsible for the financial planning, analysis and reporting of Ball Beverage Packaging EMEA's (BPEMEA) SG&A costs.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Management of one direct report (Financial Analyst)
- Assisting in preparation of annual budget and regular forecasts (4 times a year)
- Preparing and reviewing of monthly regional SG&A reporting, with some responsibility for individual cost centres
- Maintaining an on-going relationship with departmental budget holders to assist them in controlling their costs and with HR to ensure alignment with headcount reporting
- Supporting FP&A Director and EMEA P&L Controller in delivering SG&A Reporting to Executive management
- Coordinating the preparation of SG&A forecasts and budget for all non-plant locations in Europe, critically challenging assumptions and areas of discretionary spend
- Actively monitoring balance sheet positions relevant to SG&A costs
- Developing reporting capabilities in the Travel & Expense space with Concur reporting
- Supporting wider Planning, Analysis & Reporting team on ad-hoc financial accounting tasks as required
- Actively contribute to the overhaul of the BPE Chart of Cost Centres (CoCC) and delivery of Functional Reporting in line with Finance Transformation plans
**What are we looking for?**
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- BA/BSc or equivalent
- Experience of cost analysis and monitoring
- Experience of working with cost centre managers from a non-finance background
- Management accounting skills and strong computer skills (especially Excel)
- High level SAP knowledge desirable
- Fluent English
