As a software engineer, you will be part of the Palladium team in the HSV group in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.The Palladium team works with Palladium and Protium platforms.To understand more on what we do, you can visit at Cadence is very dynamic, fast-paced, and integrated with other teams all around the world.**Job Description:*** Writing C/C++ to implement the software and operating environment for the emulation platform and features; including compiler and databases.* Designing the features, flows, and interfaces for the emulation platforms with other engineers.* Writing functional, implementation, and test specifications for your code and features.* Implementing unit, integration, and system tests for your code and features.**Requirements:*** Complete bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields.* Experience as C/C++ programmer.* Experience working with data structures and algorithm design, complexity and performance tradeoffs.* Experience with Linux kernel and/or device drivers is desirable.* Being comfortable with multi-threading programming and TCP/IP programming is also plus.* Experience with any industry simulation or emulation products are pluses.**Nice to have:*** Experience developing software using version control systems.* Experience with scripting environments - either Tcl or Python.* Knowledge/Experience with Formal verification and/or simulation.* Knowledge/Experience EDA and VLSI design, including Verilog and VHDL languages.**Additional Job Details:*** Employment term: 40 hours/week. * Competitive benefits. * Location: Home office or Av Contorno 5800, Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais Brazil. **About Cadence Design Systems:**Cadence is the only company that provides the expertise and tools, IP, and hardware required for the entire electronics design chain, from chip design to chip packaging to boards and to systems.
