OverviewWe are looking for a passionate and motivated OutSystems Developer to join our team and contribute to our mission of developing software applications that support Turnaround activities for refineries and chemical plants. ResponsibilitiesApplication Development: Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient applications using the OutSystems platform. Architecture & Design: Create robust architecture and design solutions that align with business requirements and technical standards. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into functional applications. Code Quality & Best Practices: Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and maintainability; implement and adhere to best practices and coding standards. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with senior developers and peers; foster knowledge sharing. Problem Solving: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within the OutSystems environment to improve performance and user experience. Testing & Deployment: Participate in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing; assist in managing deployment processes and ensuring successful delivery. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for applications, processes, and procedures. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest OutSystems features, best practices, and industry trends; propose and implement process and functionality improvements. QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Technical Skills: Proficiency in OutSystems platform (Service Studio, Integration Studio, Lifetime); SQL and relational databases; web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team. Certifications: OutSystems certifications (e.g., OutSystems Associate Developer) are desirable. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.
