Overview

Sr. Finance Data Scientist (Time Series Forecasting)

The Value Management Analytics team designs and implements strategy for all our markets to improve Gross Profit and sustain unit economics. You will translate structured and unstructured data into insights that drive business decisions, focusing on Time Series Forecasting and Planning and partnering with business stakeholders to unlock growth and profitability.

Responsibilities
  • Build, develop, and improve analytical models focused on Time Series Forecasting and Planning.
  • Structure the forecasting data for effective analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to support growth and profitability initiatives.
  • Plan and forecast Usage and Subscribers (monthly utilization of our products by subscribers) as a key input for financial planning.
  • Address challenges in Value Management Analytics such as pricing, KPI forecasting, and A/B testing.
Qualifications
  • Senior professional with solid experience in Python (data analysis with pandas and numpy) and SQL; >3 years of experience required.
  • Experience with time series forecasting (ARIMA, Prophet) and/or machine learning models is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and programming skills; ability to translate raw data into actionable insights.
  • Business acumen with experience working with business units; pricing and unit economics knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets and data visualization tools.
  • Creative problem-solving, clear communication to stakeholders, and ability to translate findings into strategic recommendations.
  • Strong execution capabilities and the ability to drive work to completion.
  • Willingness to learn quickly with a hands-on attitude; interest in growing skills across the Wellhub business.
  • Advanced-English communication skills.
