We are looking for a skilled and experienced **Senior Systems Accountant** to join our finance team in Romania. The Senior System Accountant will play a key role in managing our financial systems, processes, and data to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.** This role will involve leveraging accounting software, systems, and tools** to streamline financial operations, improve processes and controls, correctly use system functions and internal reports to improve accountability and transparency, as well as automate manual work and integrations with other systems
What you’ll do:
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of financial systems, including ERP (NetSuite) software, accounting databases, access control, and other related tools.
- Develop and maintain system policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations to improve efficiency and functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT and operations, to identify system requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
- Perform data analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to finance team members on system usage, best practices, and procedures. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system manuals and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing. Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and technology advancements in financial systems and accounting software.
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years of experience in a similiar role, with a focus on financial systems administration and management.
- Proven experience with ERP systems, preferably in-depth knowledge ofNetSuite, proficiency in Microsoft Office and other financial software tools.
- Can-do mindset, eager to improve the quality of processes and related output
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in financial reporting and analysis.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organisation.
