We need a talented Sr. Recruiting Business Partner to help us find the best talent in the world to support our growth. Amazon is one of the most recognizable brand names in the world and we distribute millions of products each year to our loyal customers. The Sr. Recruiting Business Partner will work with a team of peers including Sourcers and Recruiting Coordinators focusing on candidate talent search and placement, process improvement, strategy development, and will act as the primary point of contact for supported groups. They will foster a collaborative team environment and a strong service-oriented culture that ensures delivery of efficient, effective, quality-driven service to internal customers and meets customer service level agreements.


The Sr. Recruiting Business Partner possesses excellent consultation and partnership skills to consult world-class business and Talent Acquisition partners. They must be passionate about hiring and developing recruiting talent and have a personal track record of successfully delivering against the most difficult talent acquisition challenges. They will have outstanding business acumen, strong analytical skills, operational excellence, and be comfortable working in an ambiguous environment. They will have exceptional talent assessment skills, a high bar for talent, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.


This in-office position will be based in our regional Vila Olimpia, São Paulo, SP, Brazil.


Key job responsibilities
  1. Ability to lead and execute complex strategies and initiatives, which at times can be ambiguous in nature.
  2. Educate stakeholders on the recruiting process, external demographics, and set expectations of how businesses/hiring teams need to participate as well as best practices.
  3. Partner with Sourcers to build effective passive candidate sourcing strategies.
  4. Manage the candidate experience by supporting candidates from prep to close.
  5. Participate in pre-briefs, onsite interviews, and debriefs.
  6. Ability to effectively conduct, negotiate, and close complex offers in competitive markets.
  7. Manage the allocation, observe trends that could affect the ability to meet demand, and create strategies to get back on track.
  8. Monitor the vacancies, pipeline, allocation, funnel conversion, time to fill, diversity, and quality of hire.
  9. Provide oversight of the interviewer pool and work with Hiring Managers if additional participation or course correction is required.
  10. Ability to write effective recruiting plans with deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking process and present them to key stakeholders.
  11. Ensure we are consistent across the organization with streamlining the recruiting process from phone interview to onsite.
  12. Utilize market data and trends to guide the business with opportunities that could address their needs faster.
  13. Report insights to the business stakeholders on metrics, measurements, and status of performance indicators.
  14. Actively participate in workforce planning with the potential to span multiple job families, levels, or geographical locations.
  15. Utilize analytics to anticipate roadblocks and problem solve.
  16. Manage special projects/recruiting initiatives.

A day in the life

Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment.


Provide strategic guidance and become an advisor to business leaders in matters related to technical and non-technical hiring by delivering results.


Create and execute robust search strategies with the sourcing team that will attract the best and brightest talent and calibrate job profiles with hiring managers.


Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine-tuning standard processes for recruiting.


Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking process. Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification.


Participate in and/or own special projects/recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging internal sources of talent, and identification of top performers for senior-level openings.

Successful recruiters on this team will utilize their experience in setting benchmarks, forecasting, and tracking against metrics while prioritizing to meet hiring targets. They thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, and have fun to get the job done. They draw on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with business leaders and hiring managers.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Bachelor’s Degree required.
  2. Comprehensive experience closing candidates and negotiating offers.
  3. Extensive progressive technical recruiting experience, including full cycle recruitment.
  4. Broad experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships.
  5. Contact Management System/Applicant Tracking System experience for tracking and managing candidates.
  6. Fluent Portuguese and advanced English skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Strong client-focus and commitment to continuous improvement; ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships, continually seek new sourcing options, and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates to the customer.
  2. Passion for and proven success creating and implementing successful diversity strategies.
  3. Ability to develop and execute recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management.
  4. Possess strong analytic skills with the ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team.
