Project Manager Snr Professional Services

General Duties & ResponsibilitiesPlan and coordinate all aspects of projects from initiation through delivery. Develop, define and execute project plans, scopes, activities, schedules, budgets and deliverables. Identify needed resources, define and assign major project roles. Create project charters to identify scope, critical success factors, risks, and other key details. Manage the project work plan and hold teams and resources accountable for budget and hours variances. Maintain a thorough understanding of estimation, letters of agreement, master service agreements, staffing models, average bill rates and cost structure by level. Interact with sales, systems engineering, product development and other cross‑functional team members. Oversee schedules and budgets to ensure goal attainment. Ensure requirements for internal technology projects align to operational standards. Develop alternate requirements or document exceptions as appropriate. Coordinate activities and tasks among project team members, internal departments, clients, vendors or subcontractors to meet project goals and ensure on‑time, on‑budget, high‑quality completion. Manage project risks, issues, problems and activity progress to achieve deadlines, scope and quality objectives. Assist with problem resolution or risk mitigation as needed. Possibly manage customization of base products to meet client requirements, system integration with Worldpay or third‑party products, or consulting engagements. Deliver informational and decision‑seeking presentations to technical and business groups within Worldpay and/or client organizations. Identify process gaps or improvement areas in project management coordination and implement solutions. May work at client sites from time to time requiring some travel. Perform other related duties as assigned. Education RequirementsBachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, business administration, or equivalent combination of education, training or work experience. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification may be required. General Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExtensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines. Knowledge of industry project management best practices, such as PMBOK. Knowledge of various IT project methodologies and life cycles, including conversions, incremental, rapid delivery, classic waterfall phases (analysis, design, development, testing, implementation) and correct project application. Knowledge of software industry standards (ISO, CMM, Six Sigma). Knowledge of the financial services industry. Knowledge of the company’s products and services. Advanced skill in using project management software (MS Project, earned value database, audit tools, project repository, risk/issue/action item database, SLIM Estimate, Metrics and Control, PlanView, Platinum Process Continuum). Demonstrated skill in managing project budgets and timelines. Negotiation skills to reach agreement amid differing viewpoints. Excellent analysis, problem‑solving, teamwork, conflict management and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with executive‑level clients. Ability to set clear expectations, manage team performance and build high morale.
