We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Accounting Analyst to join our dynamic and energetic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with finance regulations, and providing reliable financial information to management for our US entity.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
- Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and compliance
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
- Examine tax policies, manage tax payments, and handle tax returns
- Ensure compliance with all internal processes and external regulations
- Manage bank accounts, including payment processing and reconciliation
- Provide financial analysis and reporting
- Assist with the audit process and liaise with external auditors
Skills
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification if preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Expertise ideally with D365 or any other complex ERP system
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in English is essential
