**Responsabilities**
- Design and lead the implementation of enterprise-grade network solutions for customers in hybrid environments.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, best practices, and governance standards
- Drive automation and optimization strategies to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with global clients and teams to deliver tailored, high-quality solutions
**Requirements**:
- Strong experience in network engineering, with a focus on expert-level roles or leadership positions in large-scale enterprise or data center environments.
- Proven success in designing and implementing highly available and secure networks.
- Core Expertise:
- Routing and Switching: Advanced proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting enterprise-grade switches and routers (Cisco, Juniper, Arista). Deep knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and other advanced protocols
- Datacenter Networking: Expertise in SDN (e.g., Cisco ACI, VMware NSX), fabric architectures, and multi-vendor integration
- Security and Firewalls: Advanced knowledge of firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA) and VPNs (site-to-site, client-to-site). Experience with IPS/IDS solutions
- High Availability Protocols: Expertise in HSRP, VRRP, and GLBP for redundancy and fault tolerance
- Network Performance and Monitoring:
- Deep understanding of QoS (Quality of Service) for traffic prioritization
- Advanced experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Zabbix, Nagios) and network performance optimization
- Cloud Networking:
- Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud solutions, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud networking
- Proficiency in cloud-native network services, including load balancers, virtual gateways, and cloud security configurations
**Language Skills**
- Fluent English - required for high-level communication, presentations, and documentation.
- Intermediate Spanish - sufficient for technical discussions in global teams.
**Education**
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Telecommunications, or a related field
- Advanced degrees (MSc, MBA) or relevant certifications are highly desirable.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Expertise in automation tools (Ansible, Python, Terraform)
- Certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, or similar are highly desirable
- Familiarity with MPLS and SD-WAN solutions
