**Main purpose of position**
Currently we are looking for a **Tax Lead** in São Paulo, Brazil to be part of our global team working together towards our vision - **Improving our future.** As our Tax Lead you will Assist in all aspects of direct and indirect tax in the for the local entities in country.
**Main responsibilities**
- Local tax (direct and indirect) and tax structuring, both with regards to manage risk and optimize returns for projects in the development stage, but also existing projects. Desirable strong knowledge of VAT tax, specially ICMS.
- Advice on optimal funding instruments of project companies and operating companies in order to reduce trapped cash, FX exposure, tax exposure.
- Work in close relationship with the Business Development department on development of projects, including reviewing assumptions in financial models.
- Review contracts and assist in drafting contracts that are in line with structuring decisions and ensure tax exposure is reduced.
