Creative Data Collection Initiative

We are seeking artists to participate in a groundbreaking project aimed at understanding creativity, collaboration, and real-world artistic routines through the use of GoPro cameras.

As an artist, you will be responsible for wearing a head-mounted camera to capture your daily creative process over a period of 5 days within a 2-week window. You will need to record a minimum of 7 hours per day, with flexibility to take breaks and pause the camera for privacy.

At the end of each day, you will spend approximately 2 hours uploading your footage to a secure platform, reviewing short clips, and choosing to delete, anonymize, or consent to each video segment.

  • Wear a head-mounted GoPro camera to capture daily activities.
  • Record a minimum of 7 hours per day.
  • Upload your footage to a secure platform.
  • Review and manage your recorded footage.

The ideal candidate should be self-employed or have employer consent to record in their work environment. They should also be comfortable using web-based tools for uploading and reviewing clips, and have access to a computer and internet connection.

This project offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of human-centered AI research while maintaining a flexible and short-term engagement.

Requirements:
  • Must be an artist or someone engaged in manual or creative work.
  • Should have a private, self-contained workspace or apartment.
  • Must live in India, Brazil, or Colombia.
  • Should be fluent in English and able to provide informed consent.
