We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect to lead the development of our enterprise data architecture.

The successful candidate will design, implement and document data models for relational, dimensional and NoSQL databases, ensuring seamless integration with business intelligence, machine learning and data science initiatives.

This role involves overseeing the expansion of existing data architecture, optimizing data query performance and working collaboratively with business teams to implement data strategies and develop conceptual/logical/physical data models.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with RDBMS, dimensional and NoSQL data platforms, ETL and data ingestion protocols, as well as expertise in metadata management, data modeling and related tools.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in team management and leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain enterprise data architecture, including data modeling, database design and implementation.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to identify data requirements and develop data strategies.
  • Design, implement and govern data standards, tools and best practices for enterprise data models.
  • Identify and address technical challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with relational, dimensional and/or analytic technologies.
  • Expertise in metadata management, data modeling and related tools (Erwin or ER Studio).
  • Experience in team management, communication and presentation.
