Overview Wärtsilä Energy leads the transition towards a 100% renewable energy future. We help our partners accelerate their decarbonisation journeys through market‑leading technologies and power system modelling expertise, including the GEMS Digital Energy Platform. We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team in Manaus, Brazil. Main Responsibilities Carry out preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on plant machinery and equipment, identifying repair or replacement needs to guarantee reliability and functionality. Repair compressors and emergency generators, identifying parts and control system changes to guarantee functionality. Prepare technical reports describing services performed and potential faults identified. Perform services related to office building maintenance such as cable laying, lighting, and minor repairs to electrical distribution boards. Watch over tools and equipment, keeping areas organized and hygienic. Qualifications Complete Technical Training – Electrical or authorized by current legislation. Knowledge of: PLC, electrical circuits, instrumentation, pressure transmitters, PT100, thermocouples, speed sensors, transducers, communication networks, frequency inverters and supervisors. Maintenance of electrical components and small/medium electric motors. Basic English. Familiarity with Quality, Environment and Safety procedures and guidelines.
