As a Tech Lead, you’ll be a trusted advisor and own the entire technical lifecycle for assigned projects. You’ll apply your broad range of specialized skills to tackle complex challenges, requiring innovative solutions and a deep understanding of technical concepts. You’ll independently plan and execute project development, fostering collaboration and resolving conflicts within the team. Responsibilities Technical Leadership: Provide technical direction and leadership for a single team, making key decisions regarding architecture, frameworks, and tools. Mentorship: Offer guidance and support to other engineers, facilitating their skill development through regular one‑on‑one meetings. Issue Escalation: Proactively elevate issues to the Engineering Manager and Human Resources Director as needed. Work Environment Promotion: Actively promote and contribute to a healthy, safe, and collaborative work environment. Hands‑On Contribution: Collaborate closely with engineers daily, contributing to coding and implementation efforts. Code Quality Assurance: Ensure code quality through rigorous reviews, pair programming, and adherence to best practices. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical specifications. Troubleshooting: Resolve complex technical issues during development and deployment. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a technical strategy aligned with product vision and business goals. Trade‑off Evaluation: Make trade‑offs between speed, scalability, and complexity in product decisions. Team Leadership: Lead the technical team in architecting, designing, and delivering high‑quality, scalable software solutions. Best Practices Advocacy: Champion industry best practices in software development, ensuring consistent coding standards and process improvements. Innovative Solutions Implementation: Identify and implement innovative technical solutions for complex functionalities and system requirements. Problem Breakdown and Task Management: Decompose complex challenges into clear, actionable tasks. Prioritize and manage the technical workload effectively. Code Review and Mentorship: Conduct thorough reviews and mentor team members to support technical growth and quality output. Client Interaction and Communication: Present work and conduct demos for clients with clear, confident communication; maintain a professional audio and video setup for remote collaboration. Documentation: Maintain clear, organized, and up‑to‑date technical documentation for team alignment and knowledge sharing. Requirements 6+ years of software development experience, including 1–2 years in a technical lead or equivalent leadership role. Proven leadership of technical projects from inception to completion. Mastery of relevant programming languages, frameworks, and development tools. Strong experience with Contentful. Strong experience with Webflow, WordPress, ReactJS, JavaScript, AWS, and PostgreSQL. Experience with Nuxt.js. Strong understanding of system architecture and design patterns. Expertise in agile development methodologies and project management tools. Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple concurrent projects. Excellent problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Strong leadership, mentorship, and task delegation capabilities. Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends. Experience driving process improvement and change within a team or organization.
