Senior Statistical Programmer (LATAM Only) Syneos Health is a full-service biopharmaceutical solutions organization that accelerates customer success through clinical, medical affairs, and commercial expertise. Senior Statistical Programmer (LATAM Only) positions play a critical role in this effort by creating, validating, and delivering statistically sound outputs that support clinical development in LATAM markets (Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, or Chile). Job Responsibilities Develop custom SAS or equivalent statistical programming code to generate summary tables, data listings, graphs, and derived datasets as specified in the statistical analysis plan and programming specifications. Ensure outputs meet quality standards and project requirements; perform validation programming and work with Programmers, Biostatisticians, and other team members to resolve discrepancies. Maintain organized, complete, and up-to-date project documentation (testing, verification, quality control) to support inspection readiness. Manage scheduling and time constraints across multiple projects; set goals based on management priorities and adapt workload accordingly. Develop specifications for datasets and outputs of any complexity, anticipating and addressing potential programming issues. Participate in internal meetings, contribute ideas, and provide respectful feedback; follow action items to completion. Act as lead statistical programmer: direct programming activities of others, monitor progress on deliverables, review project documentation, and provide constructive feedback. Represent the programming team in sponsor, kickoff, and bid defense meetings; mentor junior personnel and develop training courses. Perform other work‑related duties as assigned; minimal travel may be required. Qualifications Undergraduate degree in a scientific or statistical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and demonstrated programming experience. Extensive SAS (or equivalent) programming experience in a clinical trial environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
