Job Title: Cloud Data Specialist Job Description: The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern data architectures, including data lakes, lakehouses, and hubs. They should be proficient in ingestion tools like Kafka and AWS Glue, as well as formats like Iceberg and Parquet. A strong background in SQL-based frameworks and orchestration tools, such as dbt, Glue, and Airflow, is essential. Experience with SCD and schema evolution, as well as knowledge of streaming architectures and tools, including Kafka and Flink, is highly valued. Proficiency in Python and expert-level SQL skills are required, along with demonstrated experience in DevOps practices, including code management, CI/CD, and deployment. The ability to work with governance principles, such as quality, privacy, and security, is also crucial. Required Skills and Qualifications Strong understanding of cloud platforms, particularly AWS. Familiarity with major data storage formats and ingestion tools. Expertise in SQL-based frameworks and orchestration tools. Knowledge of streaming architectures and tools.
