Full-Stack Developer (Java + Apache Camel) – Contractor – Remote Launchpad Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced Java Full‑Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The role focuses on building secure, scalable, and performant applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Camel. Key Details Start date: October 2025 Contract type: Contractor (indefinite) Work hours: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm PST Location: Fully remote Responsibilities Develop robust and scalable software applications using Java 11+. Design and manage relational (PostgreSQL) and/or document databases, including data modeling and SQL querying. Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle – from requirements gathering and design to testing, deployment, and support. Ensure applications adhere to security best practices and are free of common vulnerabilities. Collaborate effectively with cross‑geographical teams of developers, testers, and product managers. Contribute to the continuous improvement of team quality, efficiency, and capability. Follow and contribute to established processes, best practices, and guidelines. Qualifications 5+ years of hands‑on experience building secure, scalable, Java/Spring applications (Java 11+). Proficiency with Spring Boot. Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and ORMs. Advanced proficiency in English. Nice‑to‑haves Experience with Apache Camel integration (routing, error handling, split‑aggregate, dynamic routing). Knowledge of web service protocols (SOAP, JSON, REST). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with front‑end technologies such as Angular, React, or Struts. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Relevant certifications. Recruitment Process Initial interview – 60 min with Talent Acquisition. Technical assessment – take‑home coding test.
