  • This individual will maintain knowledge of new tax laws and regulations, providing guidance on how they impact the business.
  • The successful candidate will provide accounting expertise to small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Brazil to help them prepare accurate statutory financial statements under Brazilian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and meet federal, state, and municipal tax obligations.
  • They will ensure that all tax records are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible for audit purposes.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • A degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in taxation, preferably with a focus on Brazilian tax laws, is necessary.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and tools, including those specific to Brazil, is essential.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are a must.
