Overview Frontend Web Development Grader - BYU-Pathway Worldwide Sao Paulo, SP, Brazil (Remoto) | Part-time position This posting serves as an interest list for future opportunities. Candidates must be fluent in English and submit their application in English to be considered. Only those currently living in and authorized to work in Brazil are eligible. Questions can be directed to the Human Resources representative, Easton at Responsibilities Grade assignments using university and department procedures, rubrics, and feedback templates. Provide actionable, timely, and accurate feedback to students. Respond to student questions and concerns about scoring. Coordinate with supervisors to resolve grading issues quickly. Participate in training sessions and apply feedback to improve performance. Perform other duties as assigned in support of the academic process. Qualifications General Grader Requirements: Degree or coursework in a related field. Demonstrated subject matter expertise. Fluency in Portuguese and English (required). Experience with online teaching/learning, especially with at-risk learners (preferred). High accuracy, efficiency, and reliability in following procedures and meeting deadlines. Ability to focus and maintain quality with repetitive or complex tasks. Adaptability to new processes, procedures, and technologies. Professional, respectful, and unbiased in sensitive situations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and discipline-specific software. Proven ability to grade effectively in these subject areas. Specific Course Requirements: Frontend Web Development Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred; equivalent education/work experience may be considered. Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON. Understanding of web design principles (simplicity, responsiveness, usability, visual design). Proficiency with DOM manipulation, forms and events, JS objects/functions, CSS layout/presentation, and data retrieval. Experience with version control (GitHub), editors (Visual Studio Code), and browser tools (Chrome DevTools). Attention to detail; ability to follow test cases with accuracy; ability to read and debug imperfect code; clear written communication. Part-time and Work-from-Home Details 10-12 hours per week (may vary week-to-week). Additional Documentation Copy of original transcript (histórico escolar). Copy of diploma (front and back) showing date of completion or graduation. Academic documents accepted if officially recognized in Brazil and in country of origin (Bacharelado/Licenciatura).
