Software Engineer

Join an international team of engineering experts developing the world's leading real-time, hardware-in-the-loop solution for power electronics and digital power systems, as well as offline simulation based solutions, which play a decisive role in the process of digitalization, decentralization and decarbonization of the world's transportation and electric energy system.

You will be responsible for design and implementation of software solutions used in world-leading Typhoon HIL modeling, simulation, and test environment, and you will be supporting the Typhoon HIL customers both remotely and on-site.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop software architecture and design.
  • Code review and refactoring.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other internal teams from different domains (hardware, modeling, firmware…).

Qualifications:

  • Software requirements analysis and software modeling.
  • Commonly used algorithms and data structures.
  • Object-oriented programming paradigm and design patterns.
  • Concurrent and parallel programming.
  • Debugging and performance profiling.
  • Experience with the Qt GUI library (C++ or PyQt/PySide).
  • Experience in one (or more) of the following programing languages (Java, Python, C#, C++).
  • Unit testing.
  • Proficient spoken and written English is a must.
  • Knowledge of Python, GNU/Linux, functional programming, domain specific languages, parsers and compilers is a plus.
  • Master's degree in the domain of computer science/software engineering is a plus.

  • Interdisciplinary, International and Intersectoral secondment experience.
