Location: This is a full‑time remote position. Job Responsibilities Manage cloud infrastructure including configuration, backups, scaling, and costing. Configure and manage orchestration and containerisation tools such as Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform and GitOps tools. Roll out fixes and upgrades to the software. Develop and maintain automated build, deployment, and testing processes using Jenkins and GitOps tools. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities for critical systems. Monitor system performance and implement scaling strategies as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and outages. Maintain security standards, digital certificates, SSL/TLS, keys and secrets. Design and implement infrastructure and deployment automation for microservices. Apply systematic problem‑solving approaches, communicate effectively, and demonstrate ownership and drive. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. 3+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer or DevOps Engineer. 3+ years of experience developing, delivering and operating modern cloud platforms / large‑scale distributed systems. 3 years of hands‑on experience with Cloud automation using Terraform or similar tools. 2+ years’ experience with Kubernetes, Helm and GitOps tools. 2+ years’ experience investigating the impact of cloud security engineering issues and incidents. Background in multiple scripting languages. Experience with Jenkins pipeline and Groovy scripting. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and security best practices.
