Pure is looking for a Direct Response Copywriter to join our team As our creative head, you will be responsible for the ideation, scripting, planning, and managing of the entire creative process with a big focus on UGC ads and psychology-based creatives to be used across paid marketing channels.

We are looking to hire someone with 3+ years of work experience. The ideal candidate has prior experience in creating paid advertisements specifically for Meta Platforms, UGC, direct response marketing & bonus points if experience with influencer / UGC partnerships.

Key Objectives
  • Manage the full creative process (from scripting to final creative) to produce high-converting creatives on an ongoing basis.
  • Work with our content manager to find, manage and source new content for all marketing channels.
  • Drive measurable improvements in core advertising metrics across digital channels with improved creatives.
  • Script UGC direct response creatives.
  • Use data from creative performance on Meta to dissect, analyze and improve creatives for ongoing performance gains.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop new creative concepts and ideas.
  • Conduct strategic customer and competitor research to optimize creative efforts.
  • Provide creative reports on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Decide on next steps to scale Meta Ads through better creative.
Requirements
  • Fully remote
  • Fluent in English
  • Direct Response Expertise: 3+ years experience with performance creative for DTC brands or at a creative agency.
  • Tools & Metrics: Proficiency in performance analytics tools such as Triple Whale, Motion, pitch decks, and spreadsheets to present ideas and campaign outcomes effectively.
  • UGC Experience: Experience creating briefs for UGC creators to produce high-converting content across paid channels.
  • Creative & Analytical Mindset: Ability to generate fresh ideas, write scripts, shot lists, and make data-driven decisions based on ad performance.
  • Willingness to work overtime or weekends if needed, and a strong work ethic.

  • Basic psychology-based copywriting skills
Accountabilities
  • Brainstorm and pitch weekly ad ideas aligned with direct response principles.
  • Write 80-100 high-converting ad scripts per week for Meta Platforms.
  • Come up with static ad ideas on a weekly basis.
  • Analyze performance metrics to derive actionable insights for future campaigns.
  • Collaborate with editors and designers to ensure ads are visually compelling and on-brand.
  • Adapt ad strategies to capitalize on emerging internet trends and consumer behaviors.
  • Present performance analyses and creative strategies to the marketing team.
  • Continuously refine ad concepts and troubleshoot underperforming campaigns to achieve maximum ROI.
  • Iterate on winning ads to create more winning assets for better ROI.
How Our Hiring Works & How We Operate

When hiring, we’ll work with you to define the KPIs you’ll be responsible for and set targets. This removes ambiguity around whether you’re doing a good job after you start.

Initial soft interview, then a technical interview + test project with the current head of marketing, and a final interview to ensure culture fit. We plan to hire within ~8 - 10 days of conducting these interviews. We pride ourselves on timely responses and updates for applicants.

Salary Expectation

USD $36,000 USD to $70,000 USD per year + Performance Bonus Structure based on experience and expertise.
