The Opportunity: We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full-time Manager of IT. The ideal candidate will wear many hats including supporting end users, managing endpoints, automating identity and access management, and administering cloud-based IT systems and tools. A successful candidate will have demonstrated prior success in similar roles in rapidly growing, security-first environments. You will be a participant in the design, implementation and management of our growing corporate cloud-first infrastructure and networks. You will report to the Director of IT and work closely with Cybersecurity/IT peers and stakeholder teams such as Customer Success, Marketing, Engineering and HR. What You Will Do / Responsibilities Provide customer-facing IT support and act as first line of support for employees via Slack, Jira, etc. Proficient with macOS in an enterprise environment. Procure and deliver technology equipment; own onboarding for new employees and offboarding for outgoing employees. Design, test, build, and document programs, policies, and tools; contribute improvements to existing knowledge base. Manage SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf Pro/Protect/Connect, Okta, Jira, etc.) and Mac endpoint/mobile device management tools (MDM/EMM, Jamf). Improve IDP and SSO tooling (GSuite, Okta); document solutions and automate routine tasks. Detail solutions, craft help articles, and automate busywork; manage incidents to resolution. Prioritize help desk tickets, participate in projects over sprints, and document work in Jira using agile methods. Set and pursue objectives/OKRs aligned to team and company goals. What You Bring to Ledn 7+ years in SaaS systems administration (Jamf Pro, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, NetSuite). Ability to create automations using bash, zsh, python, etc.; familiarity with open source tools (Nudge, CIS Benchmark scripts, SplashBuddy, Munki, etc.). Experience integrating SSO into Okta and building workflows; strong API and system integration skills. Remote support across multiple countries/time zones; experience with hardware shipping/receiving and customs. Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts clearly and empathetically. Strong security mindset; understanding of PGP and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, OSI model). Self-management and ability to scope projects and collaborate across teams. Nice to Have / Culture Fit Familiarity with AWS; experience with GAM and CLI-based workflows. Jamf/Okta/Google Workspace certifications. Leadership in a startup/tech environment; adaptability, resilience, and a builder’s mindset; strong collaboration across functions. Experience working in a remote environment; ability to navigate ambiguity in a high-growth setting.
