Head of Network Engineer

Experian is seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager of Network Implementation to provide leadership for the Network Operations and Engineering staff in delivering converged, high-performing network services across the company. This role supports the implementation of new networks and upgrades to existing networks, including the internal corporate network, production datacenter network, and customer-facing client networks. Responsibilities Manage a dynamic IT organization with highly variable priorities. Lead the Brazil teams that run the operations and engineering of network and security infrastructure, including Public Cloud, Firewalls, Switches, Routers and VPN, plus cloud and premise-based Web Application Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Web Gateways, and Firewalls. In collaboration with engineering design solutions for new Experian customers or applications requiring network access and support. Develop OKRs and KPIs and align with the Brazil leadership team to ensure delivery of Network and Network Security products and services. Collaborate with Global Network Services leaders to implement device configuration standards, policies, and procedures that provide world-class support. Coordinate capacity planning and management, Disaster Recovery, Contingencies and Business Continuity with Global Network Services. Hire, train, and supervise network staff; empower them to act with initiative and creativity. Manage staff salary planning, personnel actions, and performance management processes. Foster continual growth in professional skills and knowledge for all staff members. Collaborate with Global Network leadership to create a roadmap to meet current and future customer needs. Take a senior leadership role in cross-functional / cross-organizational projects. Deliver converged, reliable, scalable, high-quality services to the business including Network Infrastructure, LAN, WAN, Internet, and telecommunications. Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with procurement and legal teams. Be flexible and handle competing or changing priorities. Qualifications Passion and desire to lead and motivate a team of engineers with a focus on continual growth through development plans and goals. 10+ years of experience in a customer-driven support role for an organization of similar size. 6+ years of experience managing a network operations/engineering team for a large enterprise. Experience managing environments that include Public Cloud (AWS, GCP, Oracle, Azure, etc.), Private Cloud, Colocation facilities and Data Center facilities. Proven ability to manage workloads using an Agile framework. Knowledge of acquisition, installation, maintenance, and management of networking, telecommunications and computer/server equipment. Proven ability to exercise sound judgment in high-pressure situations. Proven ability to facilitate productive meetings and work effectively in a team environment. Proven ability to create and establish processes, documentation, and automations to hand off between network engineering and operations teams.
