NET Engineer Job Description

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing and maintaining high-performance applications using the Microsoft .NET ecosystem.

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will deliver robust software solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

You will evaluate emerging technologies, drive continuous improvement in development practices and contribute to coding standards and architectural guidelines.

This role is instrumental in modernizing legacy systems and ensuring secure, maintainable and testable code across the organization.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure high quality and maintainability of the code through reviews and refactoring.
  2. Develop unit tests to maximize code coverage.
  3. Participate in design discussions to shape new product features.

Additionally, you will be responsible for raising and discussing trade-offs of different design approaches and elaborating detailed design documents.

To excel in this position, you will require good knowledge of Microsoft .NET frameworks, experience with Entity Framework or other ORM tools and a solid understanding of enterprise software development design patterns.

You must also possess excellent communication and collaboration skills as well as the ability to work independently and multitask effectively.
