WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will report into the Product Creation Team and support your development partners in colour / material developments. You are a critical team member of the colour / material development community and sought out as the expert resource. You will work in partnership with Product Development, Product Engineer, Lab, Manufacturing Engineer, Sourcing and Partners PCC members.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bullets to include details on:
- Bachelor's degree in administration, Textiles, or a related field (5 additional years' experience in lieu of a degree) or a combination of relevant education, experience and training
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience, Material, Colour, Product Development and lab test approval experience will be an advantage
- Strong written and oral communication skills including meeting facilitation and presentations in Portuguese and English
- Knowledge of material construction and processes
- Ability to work on your own and cooperatively in a diverse group, by networking and utilize internal and external resources to seek information and drive to make things happen.
- Self-starter and positive mindset and the Ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives is key, including price negotiation.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
If this is you, you will explore analyzing footwear materials by projects, technically lead key materials development. This work will enable the collaboration with our material development and functional NIKE and partners team to deliver on the highest level of athlete* experience with a commercialized materials aligned with PMO strategic priorities and key sustainability goals. You will drive material development and accelerate the localization of materials in partnership with partners, vendors, and material supply chain functions to drive product excellence and responsiveness.
