Job Opportunity: Data Engineering Role We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team and support the development of personalized search capabilities and data assimilation initiatives within the organization. This role is aligned to the EST time zone and offers a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the growth and success of our business. About the Job: Support FY26 initiatives focused on data-driven and personalized search experiences, enhancing current search and relevance models to provide tailored results for individual users. Perform data assimilation related to athlete journey insights and integrate this information into downstream applications, working closely with cross-functional teams. Build and optimize data pipelines in collaboration with the broader Data Engineering team, ensuring scalability and efficiency. Compile, transform, and prepare data for use across multiple business and technical functions, applying strong problem-solving skills to drive results. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using data engineering best practices and technologies such as Python, Databricks, and Kafka. Develop and implement data solutions that meet business requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery. Contribute to the growth and development of the Data Engineering team, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive innovation and excellence. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong hands-on experience with Python, Databricks (minimum 2-3 years required), and Kafka. Solid understanding of data engineering best practices, pipeline development, and data modeling. Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining complex data systems, with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability. Experience Requirements: 5+ years of overall experience in data engineering or related fields, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results and driving business value. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.
