This position involves supporting various aspects of our operations, both in the field, in greenhouses, and within facilities, on a day-to-day basis.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Wash and disinfect the pruning machine at the end of every workday.
2. Ability to use the pruning machine properly.
3. Responsible for keeping their work equipment in good condition.
4. Report directly to the Head or Assistant Grower.
5. Knowledgeable in the different plants and their measurements. Know what type of machine will plant them in the field.
6. Use of proper equipment efficiently.
7. Assist other members of crew in various work assignments.
8. Perform all duties in accordance with environmental, food safety, safety rules and regulations.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Experience)

1. Minimum 6 months working experience, preferably within a greenhouse or production.
2. Familiarity with gardening tools.
3. Ability to read and interpret instructions.
4. Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
5. Attention to detail and ability to follow directions.

Physical Requirements

While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; frequently required to talk or hear; and occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities by this job include close distance and color vision.
