Overview

Mastercard is a technology company in the global payments business, operating the world's fastest payments processing network, connecting consumers, financial institutions, merchants, governments, and businesses in more than 210 countries and territories. The Product Delivery Engagement team works across Latin America and the Caribbean to help bring new products to market, performs product readiness assessments, and manages pilots and special projects across the entire region. The position is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil and reports into the Product Delivery Engagement organization.

Role: Analyst- Product Delivery Engagement

Responsibilities
  • Executes project initiatives and develops quantitative/qualitative reports
  • Ensure alignment across own project work streams to identify and integrate accurate dependencies
  • Assist in the analysis of market readiness and escalate issues as needed
  • Assess and document customer needs and the impact of implementation on business and technical processes
  • Provide input on how to enhance infrastructure and tools to support customer implementation
  • Define and document standard and non-standard customer implementation processes
  • Lead assigned product delivery projects to meet contractual objectives, on-time delivery, and revenue goals
  • Act as central point of contact for customers and/or Mastercard representatives
  • Ensure resolution of day-to-day technical/operational issues related to delivery projects
All About You
  • Background and experience in payments or financial technology; strong client management, business development, or sales experience with the ability to understand customer needs, marketplace dynamics, and industry trends. Experience in managing a commercial program with an issuer is a plus
  • Commercially savvy; comfortable negotiating with customers and able to identify opportunities internally and externally
  • Experience working with Merchants and Corporations
  • Strong financial acumen; ability to perform quantitative analysis, build business cases, report on program results, and present to stakeholders
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills; ability to communicate program strategies to executive management
  • Team player with strong influencing skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues who do not report directly
  • Self-starter; able to work with limited supervision in ambiguous environments and under short-term targets
  • Prior knowledge of the payments industry in Latin America is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese; Spanish a plus

  • Report any suspected information security violations or breaches
  • Complete periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard's guidelines
