About the Job: As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be an active contributor and influencer in shaping our technical direction. You will contribute to various initiatives and provide feedback through code reviews and pair programming. We are particularly interested in candidates passionate about working in luxury retail/e-commerce or sustainability efforts in creating a circular economy for high-end goods. Develop using interesting technologies such as Elixir, Ruby, React, Typescript, GraphQL, Kafka, AWS/Lambda, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB Mentor, actively participate in code reviews, and pair up with a team member to work together on features Act as a strong partner to product and engineering management Requirements: We seek experienced professionals with a track record of successfully shipping consumer or business-facing products. Minimum 7+ years of web application development experience Experience in writing reliable and maintainable code, reusable components, and component libraries Experience with any of Elixir, Erlang, Ruby, Javascript, NextJs, or another programming language Passionate about testing practices and continuous improvement Familiarity with common programming tools such as IDEs, RESTful APIs, Git repositories, TypeScript, version control software, and remote deployment tools Familiarity with event-based architectures, database fundamentals, and GraphQL Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills Preferred Requirements: We prefer candidates with experience in the following areas: Javascript, HTML, CSS, and React GraphQL Built microservices Built eCommerce platforms Worked with a CMS, especially Prismic Mobile development for iOS and/or Android Confidentiality: We value your privacy and adhere to global data protection laws, ensuring confidentiality and secure handling of candidate information.
