Key Tasks and ResponsibilitiesThe Tax Assistant has the following responsibilities and key tasks related to BW Energy’s (BWE) operation in Brazil:- Issue Material Invoice, such as Embark, Disembark, and other.- Issue Import Invoice as well as customs clearance certificate.- Book keep the invoices and prepare the Tax Returns related to indirect tax.- Review the supplier invoices in a tax perspective to identify and correct any inconsistency.- Calculate the taxes due on the invoices, such as withholding taxes and taxes due on selling invoices.- Assist on the crosscheck and validate of tax obligation.- Assist the reconciliation of tax information with accounting.- Work with other stakeholders, especially Supply Chain, Accounting and Finance Team.**Requirements**:- Attending or graduate in Accounting or related field.- Tax experience in accounting firm and/or in industry, preferably an E&P corporation.- Knowledge in tax obligations.- Ability to understand and work with ERP systems.- Fluent in oral and written Portuguese language
