You’ll lead efforts to optimize databases, build efficient back‑end solutions, and ensure reliability across data‑intensive workflows. This role offers the opportunity to shape technical strategy, collaborate with cross‑functional experts, and contribute to innovative solutions at the intersection of data engineering and software development. WHAT YOU WILL DO Lead the design and optimization of databases to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency, with a strong focus on query optimization, indexing strategies, and data architecture best practices. Build and maintain efficient, scalable back‑end systems to handle high data volumes, prioritizing the optimization of revenue‑driving features. Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and scalability. Write clean, modular code following Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, with proficiency in Python. Work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate high‑level concepts into actionable, effective software solutions. Design and implement event‑driven processes to improve data flow, responsiveness, and scalability across systems.
