Quality Assurance

Job Description Pay Range: $15hr - $20hr The Quality Assurance role is responsible for inspecting inbound perishable loads, monitoring product quality, ensuring proper rotation of inventory, and maintaining accurate documentation. This position supports warehouse operations by identifying quality issues, managing product condition, and communicating regularly with internal teams. Requirement / Must Have Ability to operate a forklift or electric pallet jack. Ability to work independently without close supervision. Strong oral and written communication skills. Experience Basic computer skills. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify purchase order quantities for all inbound perishable loads. Inspect inbound trucks for signs of pests or rodents before unloading. Document temperatures of inbound loads and report any violations to buyers or warehouse management. Ensure proper rotation of produce and other perishable inventory. Maintain acceptable product levels in assigned pick slots. Perform daily quality inspections for all perishable items. Conduct daily date checks and remove outdated products from pick and reserve slots. Complete daily dump and damage reports and submit to warehouse supervisor or inventory control. Communicate daily with buyers and warehouse management regarding perishable items. Make recommendations on damage, disposal, or repackaging. Process produce returns and determine whether items should be returned to inventory, donated, or discarded. Respond to calls from Territory Managers and assist with troubleshooting.
