Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to lead the development of our core intelligence platform.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in information retrieval, scalable backend systems, and generative AI. They will be responsible for building and optimizing semantic search pipelines, graph-based retrieval, and agentic systems, as well as designing and deploying scalable APIs and services capable of serving hundreds of concurrent requests.

The role requires strong technical skills, including experience with Python for backend development, vector databases, LLM frameworks, agent-based systems, and document retrieval. The candidate should also have a research-driven and pragmatic mindset with a focus on measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable search engines and retrieval pipelines
  • Deploy systems at scale, including search engines and embedding models
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software components and APIs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Strong background in semantic search, vector databases, LLM frameworks, agent-based systems, and document retrieval
  • Skilled in Python for backend development with ability to build scalable APIs and services
  • Past experience deploying systems at scale, including search engines and retrieval pipelines
  • Ability to design infrastructure that serves hundreds of concurrent requests

What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of $20,000 - $40,000 per year, depending on experience, expertise, and scope of ownership. This is a full-time role with significant responsibility and long-term upside.
