Position Overview: Shakacode is seeking an experienced and driven Marketing Lead to take charge of our marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will be a marketing expert who is familiar with the StoryBrand framework, and Marketing Made Simple techniques and capable of executing these strategies to completion. While sales experience is a plus, this role's primary focus is marketing execution and driving impactful campaigns.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Marketing Strategy & Execution:


  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy using the StoryBrand framework and Marketing Made Simple principles.
  • Design the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across social media, content marketing, SEO, and email channels.
  • Craft clear, customer-focused messaging that resonates with our target audience.
  • Contribute to enhancing Shakacode's brand visibility and generating leads through targeted marketing efforts.
  • Create and manage a marketing funnel that nurtures leads and converts them into clients, using StoryBrand and other proven marketing techniques.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across all platforms.


2. Sales Strategy:


  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand Shakacode's client base
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, managing the sales process from lead generation through to closing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored proposals.
  • Collaborate closely with development and design teams to align sales efforts with client expectations.


3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:


  • Work with the leadership team to ensure sales and marketing strategies are aligned with business objectives.
  • Partner with product and design teams to ensure a seamless alignment between marketing, sales, and product offerings.
  • Provide insights from the market to inform ongoing product development and service refinement.


Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in marketing, with a strong focus on digital marketing and content-driven strategies.
  • Expertise in the StoryBrand framework and Marketing Made Simple techniques, with a proven ability to execute these strategies.
  • Experience with key marketing channels such as social media, content marketing, SEO, and email marketing.
  • Proficiency in English
  • Experience working in a remote, distributed team environment, with comfort in cross-cultural collaboration.
  • Have previous experience with HubSpot for campaign management and analytics.

  • Experience with social ads and influencer marketing.
  • Are based in South America, Central America, or Mexico
