We are seeking a Strategic Materials Planning Manager to lead our production planning team in developing and executing production plans aligned with business forecasts and backlog priorities.

  • Develop and execute production plans to meet business objectives and inventory management goals.
  • Manage Oracle EBS/ASCP and other planning tools to ensure accurate material availability and capacity planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, including lead time reduction, safety stock optimization, and inventory turnover performance.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams to support new product introductions and localization strategies.
  • Monitor and report key planning KPIs, including Days Inventory Outstanding (DOI), Error and Omission (E&O), and Finished Goods (FG) inventory aging, to global stakeholders.
  • Support regional-wide initiatives, including Kanban Supermarket rollout, tariff mitigation strategies, and intercompany coordination.
  • Act as a key liaison with global planning leaders to ensure best practices are adopted.
  • Provide leadership and development to the planning team, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.

This role requires a professional with strong results orientation, collaborative spirit, and a positive influence on the team. The ideal candidate demonstrates courage and agility to lead continuous improvement initiatives, especially in dynamic environments with high urgency and cross-functional complexity.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in planning or operations roles, preferably in industrial manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS/ASCP.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel skills.
  • Experience with S&OP, inventory management, and intercompany operations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Postgraduate degree or MBA , and /or APICS certification is a plus (or willingness to pursue).
