Claravine’s Data Standards Cloud enables customers to set their own data standards and validate data across teams. Sr/Software Engineer - Backend (Brazil - Sao Paulo)Role: Sr/Software Engineer - Backend (Brazil - Sao Paulo) at Claravine. The position focuses on developing, maintaining, and optimizing the server-side components of our platform. You will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. You should be comfortable with databases, server-side scripting languages, application programming interfaces (APIs), and server architecture to ensure seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems. What You’ll DoWork with data, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code to enhance the user experience. Create maintainable, testable and reusable code Develop features with security best-practices in mind. Audit existing codebase to improve performance Conceptualize and implement solutions for data storage Requirements5+ years of backend engineering experience with increasing responsibility Professional experience writing enterprise code Desire to learn and solve problems no matter the technology Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field Excellent knowledge of back-end programming languages in our tech stack Extensive experience in software development, scripting and project management Experience using system monitoring tools (e.g. New Relic) and automated testing frameworks Tech StackLanguagesJS PHP Kotlin FrameworksSpring Laravel Node DatabasesMysql Postgres InfrastructureAWS Kubernetes Terraform Seniority levelMid-Senior level Employment typeContract Job functionEngineering and Information Technology IndustriesSoftware Development Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Claravine by 2x We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
