UX Designer

Our client, a major oil and gas organization's Upstream division , is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior UX Designer to join their innovative UX design team. This role is pivotal in defining and driving research-based solutions to tackle the most complex technical challenges inherent in the Oil & Gas industry. You will act as a design leader, working closely with cross-functional leadership , including principal engineers and senior project managers, to create elegant, scalable, and effective user interfaces that simplify highly complex tools and processes. As a member of this highly collaborative team, you'll be responsible for the strategic direction of design solutions that significantly enhance enterprise-level productivity and help shape critical energy-related decisions globally. What You'll Be Doing: Top 5 Responsibilities Design Strategic Solutions: Your primary role is to define and lead the design of interfaces and processes that optimize user productivity across the enterprise, ensuring solutions are scalable and address complex systems-level challenges. Integrate & Drive Research Strategy: Take ownership of integrating and translating insights from UX research into actionable design strategies, ensuring the final product is user-centered, evidence-based, and strategically sound . Create & Govern Design Artifacts: Produce and guide the development of high-fidelity design artifacts (wireframes, prototypes, and design systems), ensuring design consistency and clarity across multiple product lines. Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a senior design liaison, collaborating effectively with executive stakeholders, development leadership, and peer designers, and influencing long-term product roadmaps . Champion Design Excellence: Beyond execution, you will actively educate, mentor, and advocate for the adoption of sound design principles and best practices across the organization.
