Overview

We are looking for a Network Analyst who wants to learn and transform his career.

Responsibilities

• In this role you will provide network engineering and support across LAN, WAN, WLAN and SD-WAN environments, including configuration, troubleshooting and remediation.
• Engineer or Technologist in systems or telecommunications, in computer science or related, with experience in management of local area networks (wired/wireless) for more than 2000 virtual/physical devices and extended datacenter supporting critical business environments.
• Create/edit medium and high critical configuration scripts for new environments, troubleshooting and remediation scenarios.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and test IMAC for access/border/core network for Cisco/HP Family.
• Support network devices including small/medium switches (L2/L3), routers (L3-L7) for access/edge/core, and WLAN (Cisco/HP).
• Coverage for firewalls (Palo Alto, SASE) including policies/rules/group membership/individual considerations.
• Identify, test and document cabling (CAT5-9, fiber optics MM/SM).
• Test data communication for radio and mobile access.
• Configure Palo Alto Firewall, Windows Jump Server; manage Panorama and Cortex for large device deployments.
• Prepare, validate and conduct change management processes.
• Capacity/performance analysis (CPU, memory, throughput, ports).
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.

Qualifications

• Must have: Engineer or Technologist of systems or telecommunications, in computer science or related field, with experience in LAN/WAN/WLAN management for large environments.
• Experience in configuration, troubleshooting, testing, and IMAC for access/border/core networks (Cisco/HP).
• Experience with small/medium switches (L2/L3), routers (L3-L7), and WLAN.
• Experience with Palo Alto, SASE, and firewall administration (Palo Alto Panorama and related tools).
• Knowledge of Fortinet/Huawei for network and security devices is a plus.
• VPN IPsec and client-to-site implementation; integration with security teams (threat intel, SOC).
• End-user support experience across ICT hardware, operating systems, telephony, videoconferencing and related areas; ability to diagnose and resolve problems.
• Ability to understand cybersecurity attacks and mitigation methods.

Good to have

• Knowledge Fortinet/Huawei for network (LAN/WLAN) and security devices; firewall administration (Palo Alto Panorama) and large number of firewall visibility and administration.
• Setup, configuration, integration, design, zero trust; rules optimization, IP policy and documentation.
• Hardening, standard production setup, capacity planning, high availability and failover.
• Virtual and appliance devices, cloud and on-premises, backup and restore.
• Establish VPN IPsec and client-to-site; integration with other security teams.
• Experience with asset management, hardware requirements analysis and creating user guides.
